FAQ

Who makes your stained glass pieces?

Every piece is handmade by me, Christie, in my small studio in South Georgia. I design, cut, foil, and solder each one by hand — no mass production, ever. Every item is one-of-a-kind, crafted with care, patience, and a little bit of soul.

 What materials do you use?

I work primarily with high-quality art glass, copper foil, solder, and black patina. Each piece is cleaned, waxed, and polished for a long-lasting shine. The colors you see aren’t painted — they’re the true colors of the glass itself, which makes them glow beautifully in natural light.

How should I hang or display my stained glass?

Most of my suncatchers come with a small chain, ring, or leather cord for easy hanging. For best results, hang them near a window or against a light-colored wall where sunlight can filter through. Avoid using suction cups for heavier pieces — instead, use small hooks or nails for better support.

 Can I display them outdoors?

Garden stakes and outdoor pieces are designed to withstand the elements, but for longevity, it’s best to place them in partial shade or covered areas. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or frost may weather the finish over time.

How do I clean my stained glass?

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe your glass clean. Avoid glass cleaners or anything with ammonia, as it can damage the solder and patina. If it ever looks dull, a little bit of carnauba wax can restore its shine.

 Do you take custom orders?

Yes! I love collaborating on custom pieces. If you have a color palette, design idea, or special size in mind, send me a message. I can create something personal — whether it’s a gift, memorial, or piece designed for a specific space.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most ready-to-ship items are mailed within 3–5 business days. Custom orders typically take 2–3 weeks, depending on the design and materials. All items are packaged securely to ensure they arrive safely and beautifully.

What if my item arrives damaged?

I take great care in packaging, but if your piece arrives damaged, please contact me right away with photos. I’ll happily replace, repair, or refund it — your happiness matters to me.

Are all pieces exactly the same as the photos?

No two pieces are ever identical — that’s the beauty of handmade work. Glass textures and color tones may vary slightly, which makes each piece truly one of a kind.

 What inspires your designs?

I’m inspired by music, world peace, and the mid-century nostalgia. My work blends modern Americana shapes with a soulful, free-spirited energy — each piece is meant to bring a little warmth, soul, and peace into your space.
